Stone Temple Pilots kick off reunion in Houdini Mansion, announce 2008 tour dates

After announcing that they will do a reunion tour this summer, Stone Temple Pilots played a brief set last night at the former estate of magician Harry Houdini, which is tucked away in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills. The 30-minute set for a small group of contest winners and industry honchos served as the band’s official re-launch and tour announcement, and included hits like “Big Empty,” “Plush,” “Interstate Love Song,” “Vaseline,” “Lady Picture Show,” “Big Bang Baby” and “Trippin’ on a Hole in a Paper Heart.”
